How the simulation works
StarBoySim creates fictional football careers. It uses archived player attributes and original game rules to generate results. It is not a live score service, an official football database or a prediction tool.
Archived active-player attributes
The active-player source is the EA_FC_ANALYSIS archive, describing a September 2026 ratings snapshot. The playable world uses nine leagues, 180 clubs and 5,085 imported squad records. This is a frozen archive: a transfer or rating change in real football does not automatically update the game.
Club baseline strength uses the eleven highest source overall ratings. The engine combines that baseline with the projected best XI rather than drawing a completely new club strength each season. Budgets and development environments are game estimates. The starting draft is a separate pool from the complete squads used for simulation.
Historical players and overall ratings
Historical donor attributes are original estimates intended to represent a player’s peak. They are not official Ultimate Team cards. Overall and potential use position-specific attribute weights: defending has no weight for strikers or wingers, while defending, physicality and pace matter most for centre-backs. The player-building guide gives more examples.
Seasons and development
Match results depend on team strength and simulation randomness. Your player’s role, minutes, attributes, injuries and form influence their output. Development is limited by performance conditions and rating bands. A good season can improve a career’s direction without guaranteeing the same result in the next season. Contract offers and transfer prices are fictional game estimates.
Squad aging and replacements
Imported footballers age in the simulation. Their ratings decline after 31 and they leave the simulated squads at 37. Generated replacements inherit a nationality but use generated names and attributes. Future squads and international winners therefore describe the game’s world, not a claim about real players’ future careers.
All-time benchmarks and verified submissions
The all-time list is a curated game ranking with stronger weighting for modern-era achievements. It is not an objective historical ranking. Completed competitive submissions are recalculated on the server from the career seed and recorded decisions; manually supplied totals are not accepted as proof. Sandbox careers are excluded.
Artwork, identity and limitations
Pixel portraits, pitch graphics and simplified shields are original game artwork. Club and player names identify the teams and people represented; their inclusion does not imply endorsement. Source attribution does not establish commercial-use permission. Questions about source content or rights can be sent through the contact page.
