Privacy & local saves

Updated 24 October 2026.

Your career stays in your browser

StarBoySim stores careers and settings in this browser’s local storage. The current game has no accounts, cloud saves, leaderboards, advertising or analytics scripts. Career imports are processed locally. Exported careers and share images are downloaded to your device; they are not automatically published or uploaded.

Hosting

When hosted on Cloudflare, ordinary requests to load the game pass through Cloudflare. Hosting and security services may process technical information such as IP addresses, request URLs and browser information. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Support links

The optional support link takes you to Ko-fi. StarBoySim does not collect payment information. Ko-fi and its payment processors handle any contribution under their own policies.

Your controls

Use Export to keep a career backup. Clearing this site’s browser storage deletes local careers and settings, so export first if you want to retain them. Downloaded files can be deleted from your device. Saves do not automatically transfer between localhost, pages.dev and the custom domain.

Sharing

You choose whether to post a screenshot, image or caption. Shared images may contain the player name you entered and your fictional career statistics. Avoid using private personal information in player names.

Contact

You can contact the creator through the project’s Ko-fi page.
